The Islamic Department of Kuwait National English School (KNES) is always keen to upgrade the level of their students.  We teach the students using the latest teaching methods that will help develop their abilities. In KNES we encourage students to use their innate creativity as part of the educational process. The department puts great effort into instilling moral values ​​in the heart of our children, as the Holy Quran encourages them to be good members of the society and to be responsible and help others.  We do this through the curriculum, and the different competitions developed and coordinated by the Ministry of Education for the private sector.  The school also facilitates Quran clubs which are provided throughout the year.

The Department of Arabic Language in the School Kuwait National English spares no effort in using the latest methods and techniques to help to promote the level of Arabic language and its branches and activities, and follow what is new and useful at the hands of specialists from thinkers, writers and researchers in the areas of teaching the Arabic language. What we achieve in the Arabic Language Academy each year, in addition to the following steps:

Teaching Methods: 

Taking into account the Department of Arabic Language School the application of the prescribed curriculum of the Ministry of Education and of accuracy during the application.
Use of education methods to clarify the aspect of the lesson and help to understand the lesson, such as paintings, the cards, sculptures, and the monitor as well as the computer.

  • Leadership Lessons:

 Transferring of expertise among teachers through the Leadership lessons during the school year. At the level of the three stages (the primary - intermediate - and secondary) Which will benefit the desired for the student, As well as meeting invitations that come from different schools to attend lessons standard of the various stages and to ensure to attend by the Arabic language teachers in school.

  • Address the vulnerable Students:
Addressing the weaknesses in the Arabic language, by limiting the weaknesses of the various  three stages of the students with finding appropriate solutions. Through the creation or strengthening of the chapters of individual treatment, in addition to the modify  this work periodic encounters between teachers and the head of the department.
  • Participate in activities :

Participating in activities concerning the Arabic language, which is in posts to the contests held by the Ministry of Education (such as talk -  write - enjoy - expression - the competition Arabic poetry), as well as radio school, and involve the largest number of students in providing programs. And also in the global and national events especially UNESCO 

  • Weekly Meetings :

Weekly meetings held with the teachers of the three stages and discuss matters relating article, and to find solutions to problems and constraints that appears and objects to the educational process.

 Participation in UNESCO Activities :

The school participate in the UNESCO since 1996, and was their mark in all activities, it is natural to participate Department of Arabic Language school in these activities and attend meetings and seminars held, whether at the headquarters of the National Commission for UNESCO or at the headquarters of the UNESCO Associated Schools, as well as participation Exhibitions held in several occasions (such as on tolerance, nonviolence, human rights, the International Day, helping the sick, ..... etc.), whether inside or outside the school.

  • Participate in Activities after School Clubs :
With respect to the activities held after school participate in the Arabic language, particularly in addressing the weaknesses in the Arabic language in all stages and under the supervision of specialized teachers in the treatment of weaknesses, including literacy skills, clerical and spelling.
  • Visiting Head of the Department of Chapters:
Field visits by the head of the department throughout the year and be at the beginning of the school year exploratory visits and guidelines, and in the last year modify to identify the teacher response to the guidance, and its impact on the level of students and thus show the efficiency of the teacher in develop students to the best.

 Mental and Written preparation :

Under the supervision of Head of the Arabic language are available on the preparation of teachers and the plan for the lesson and the basic steps and behavioral objectives (knowledge - and emotional - mental - motor) with free of grammatical errors and language.
