Early Years Department
The Kuwait National English School provides you with this opportunity for having a great department called the preschool.
I believe that our preschool is beneficial and can do many things that will help children be successful when formal school begins.
The importance of preschool:
Physical Development - They drive a car. They catch a ball. They stand on one foot. They build towers of blocks. They walk on tip toes. They jump horizontally. They clap their hands. They step their feet. They handle small objects such as puzzles, and pegboards. They smear or daub paint. They draw or paint in circular and horizontal motions.
They make shapes with play how. They dance. They imitate the teacher movements.
Social and Emotional Development - They know clear and consistent rules and what the consequences for breaking them are. They like to play with each other. They know how to share. They know well how to behave inside and outside the class.
Intellectual Development – our children have everyday a variety of activities (indoor and outdoor; quiet and active). We encourage group work so the child will learn more. Also we answer on all the child questions or in an activity or in a short story so it will be stick on their minds.
