In keeping with our school’s Philosophy and School Guiding Statement, KNES held a Tolerance Day Assembly on Wednesday, 16 November 2011, International Tolerance Day, to raise student awareness on the importance of Tolerance. KNES is home to both students and staff from different parts of the world, who come from different cultural backgrounds, religious denominations, race groups and nationalities. Our pupils are taught to respect the cultures of all people, irrespective of their colour or creed. We reinforce in our students that we all belong to one HUMAN FAMILY. Our Primary Assembly reinforced what they learn during Citizenship classes and focused on inculcating in pupils values such as respect, accepting differences amongst people and cultural diversities, anti-bullying, helping others by supporting charities, showing courtesy to the elderly and disabled in our community and assisting those in need. |
