First Aid Training for Year 5 & Year 6 Students
The Ministry of Health and
School Nurse were nice enough to come visit us on Tuesday March 14th
and provide a presentation to the Year 5 & Year 6 students.
The presentation was introducing
the children to First Aid. They were shown how to provide CPR, help someone who
is choking and also to identify signs of someone in need of help.
This was a great opportunity
to introduce First Aid to the students and something they will remember as they
grow older and have more information to build on the skills of being able to
help someone in need. The Ministry was very helpful and asked the children lots
of questions to make sure they were gaining understanding.

for continuing to develop our ongoing partnership.
