The Gulf University of Science and Technology - Microsoft Office Challenge 2025
On Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at Gulf University,
our secondary students took part in a tournament sponsored by Microsoft
technologies.
Our students took part in the
PowerPoint Challenge. It was a tough challenge with over 65 competitors from
schools all around Kuwait.
There were more than five online
assignments to complete on PowerPoint.
All our participants showed a lot of commitment in completing the
assignments.
The competitors George Al Talli year
9, Adam Taha year 9 and Issam El Halabouni, year 10 were accompanied by the
Computing teachers Ms Farhat Mustafa and Mr Yasar Ameer.
We are delighted to report that Issam
El Halabouni, one of our year 10 pupils was placed among the top 10
winners. He completed these difficult
tasks with an incredible 820 points out of 1000.
The employees of Gulf University and
Kuwait's Ministry of Education presented him with an award of appreciation.
