Secondary End of Year Awards Assembly
A Memorable Farewell: Reflecting on
the 2024/2025 Final Secondary School Assembly
The 2024/2025
academic year came to a heartfelt close this week as students, teachers, and
staff gathered for the final Secondary assembly, which is the final celebration
of hard work, growth, and achievement. The atmosphere was bittersweet, filled
with pride for what had been accomplished and a touch of sadness as another
year drew to an end.
The assembly
kicked off with the National Anthems and an eloquent speech given by Mr.
Meshari Al Gharabally (General Director). Mr. Meshari presented the following
awards:
Outstanding
Academic Achievements Awards: The assembly kicked off with the National Anthems and the much-anticipated
awards ceremony. Students who
had excelled in their examinations were recognized with Outstanding Achievement
Awards. The following students received the Outstanding Academic Achievements
award:
Year 7 - Renaad Mohamed Moharram.
Year 8 - Jelnar Kamal Hana.
Year 9 - Salma Samer Abdel Khader & Talin Ahmad Al Zouhairy.
Yaer 10 - Issam Mohamad Rabi El Halbouni.
UK Maths Trust – 2025 Junior
Mathematical Challenge:
Next came the UK Mathematics Challenge winners, a group of sharp-minded
students who had tackled complex problems with creativity and skill. The UK
Maths Trust – 2025 Junior Mathematical Challenge award winners are:

European Council of International Schools
(ECIS) Award for Intercultural Understanding 2025: One of the most touching moments was the presentation of the ECIS Award for
Intercultural Understanding, given to a student who had gone above and beyond
to foster inclusivity and global awareness within the school community. The
ECIS Award for Intercultural Understanding 2025 was awarded to Bailasan Al
Taleb (Head Girl).
Student of the Year Award 2024/2025 -
Faisal Al Enezi (Head Boy):
The Student of the Year Award
2024/2025 brought cheers and a few emotional tears as the winner is a student
known for his leadership, kindness, and academic excellence was announced. The
name will now join a legacy of past recipients who’ve left their mark on the
school. Faisal Al Enezi received
the prestigious Student of the Year Award 2024/2025.
Art & Design contest, “My
Beautiful Kuwait”:
Finally, the Art & Design contest, “My Beautiful Kuwait,” showcased
stunning student artwork inspired by the country’s culture and landscapes. The
Art and Design contest called My Beautiful Kuwait was held during the year. The
competition was incredibly tough, with all the participants showcasing
outstanding creativity and heartfelt expressions of their love for Kuwait. The
winning pieces were awarded proudly, a vibrant testament to the creativity
thriving within the school.

assembly wrapped up, there were hugs, laughter, tears, and promises to stay in

achievements will last forever.
